During an Office 365 migration, you are likely also moving away from Microsoft Intune to Google Endpoint Management.
This requires a coordinated effort on Day 1. Employees must remove their old Exchange profiles from their iOS or Android devices. Then, using Google Workspace's advanced MDM, IT admins can push a 'Work Profile' to the devices. This containerizes the Google apps (Gmail, Chat, Drive) keeping company data separate from personal data, and allowing IT to wipe the corporate data remotely if the device is lost.
